Our Curriculum

North London Collegiate School HCMC draws upon the NLCS curriculum. Core elements of a variety of educational programmes are carefully considered and integrated to ensure studies exceed international standards while students develop a strong local identity. NLCS HCMC lessons do not follow a set structure, nor are they constrained by an exam syllabus or textbook. Our teachers, hand-picked by NLCS, show genuine passion and enthusiasm for their discipline and strive to foster that same enthusiasm in their students.

Junior school students benefit from specialist teaching in PE, Music and Art. The remaining subjects are taught by class teachers who will determine whether lessons are best taught as standalone sessions or as part of transdisciplinary themes. In addition to well-equipped classrooms, students also enjoy our junior school’s state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to science, digital design, art, music and drama.

An Exceptional Education

Pastoral Care

Our school prides itself on providing exceptional pastoral care for every student. Our pastoral care is focused on individual support for each pupil, developing resilience and a sense of perspective, so that they are able to tackle challenges head-on, learn from setbacks and have the confidence to try again if things don’t work out initially.

Dual Language

Utilising dual language immersion, NLCS HCMC offers classes taught by two lead teachers simultaneously in English and Vietnamese. Carefully planned lessons introduce all key concepts in both languages without compromising the quality of students’ studies.
